Home, construction and design

Nobody leaves a voicemail about a house.

Custom builders, interior designers and solar. The Saturday call gets answered, the project gets qualified, and it reaches your calendar with the lot, the budget range and the timeline already written down.

The phone rings while you’re on site, at a client’s house, or under a sink.

It isn’t that you don’t want to answer. At that hour you’re doing the job somebody called you about last time.

  • SAT 10:20

    “Just getting some ideas”

Someone who has spent two years thinking about building dials on a Saturday. You’re on site. It goes to voicemail, he doesn’t leave one, and he moves on to the second name on his list.

  • 23:10

    The leak

The pipe goes at eleven at night. Nobody compares reviews at that hour: they dial down the search results until somebody picks up. Whoever picks up bills the job.

  • MON 07:40

    Last night’s enquiries

The ads ran all night and the forms piled up. By the time your rep starts dialling at nine, the first ones have booked with somebody else and the rest don’t remember filling anything in.

A build enquiry and a burst pipe are not the same call.

The agent takes both, on the script you wrote, and each one ends where it should: one on Monday’s calendar, the other on the on-call technician’s phone.

  • Qualifies the project before it becomes a meeting

Lot, budget range, timeline, who decides. Five questions, the ones you set. On Monday you don’t arrive with a name on a list — you arrive with the project written down.

  • Tells an emergency from an appointment

You write the line between them. At eleven at night it takes the address, what’s failing and the photos by message, and wakes the on-call technician. If it can wait until morning, it goes on the morning’s list.

  • Keeps the repeat work on the calendar

The fortnightly clean, the AC service, the follow-up visit. It books into the system you already run and confirms the day before, which is when jobs fall off.

What happens when it takes a person

An address is not just another field.

What your customer hands over on the phone is where they live and when nobody is home. Here is how we treat that, and what the agent does not decide on its own.

  • Only what the visit needs

The address, how to get in, what’s failing, when they can receive you. Nothing else. It’s stored encrypted, who opened it is logged, and you set how long it’s kept.

  • Gas, electricity and fire are not diagnosed over the phone

If there’s a smell of gas or the breaker is hot, the agent doesn’t say it can wait and doesn’t talk anyone through what to touch. It takes the address and hands the call to the number you define.

  • It does not quote

What a job costs depends on things nobody can see over the phone. The agent repeats a range you already publish, if you publish one, and collects what you need in order to price it. The quote stays yours to make.

  • The call says it is being recorded

Where the law asks for it, it’s announced at the start. And the confirmation message only goes to someone who agreed to receive it. This is a working guideline, not legal advice: what applies to your operation is for your lawyer to confirm.

Common questions

Can I define what counts as an emergency?

Yes, and you write that list: a leak, no water, no power, a smell of gas, AC down in summer. Everything else comes in as an appointment. You change it whenever you want, without anything being rebuilt.

Does it give prices over the phone?

Only a range you already publish, if you publish one, and it says the word range first. It never gives a quote. What it does is leave you what you need to price the job without measuring twice.

What does it collect about the property?

The address, directions, how to get in, what’s failing and when they can receive you. If they send photos by message, those arrive attached to the job. It never asks for an account or card number, in any case.

Does it connect to the dispatch app we already use?

Yes, it books and dispatches into the system you already run, not a new one. Which ones connect, and how, is what we go through on the call.

Does it replace whoever answers today?

No. It covers what is being lost today: Saturday, eleven at night, and the calls that come in while you’re on site. Whoever answers today keeps coordinating crews, which is the part nobody can hand off.

Can it handle English-speaking clients?

The agent comes with Spanish, English and Portuguese. A language beyond those three is separate work and is quoted on its own. If your client bought the lot from abroad and speaks one of the three, the call is answered the same way. Human cover is agreed with you at setup.
